<p>In 2025 alone, Bekins recycled an incredible <strong>725,093 pounds (more than 360 tons)</strong> of materials, keeping the equivalent of <strong>65 fully loaded garbage trucks</strong> out of landfills.</p>

<p>Since 2015, Bekins has focused on recycling or repurposing more than <strong>90% of all waste</strong> generated at our facilities.</p>
<p>Over that time, we&rsquo;ve diverted <strong>4,376,667 pounds of material</strong> from landfills, including:</p>

<p>When Sam Kim, the President of LG&rsquo;s Home Appliances in the United States, was looking for feedback to improve LG&rsquo;s Home Appliance brand, he requested a visit to Bekins.</p>
<p>Mr. Kim and a few other LG representatives visited the Grand Rapids showroom in early May to learn from the professionals on the Bekins Purchasing, Sales, and Marketing teams.</p>

They also lauded Mr. Kim for the company&rsquo;s innovation, including LG&rsquo;s door-in-door refrigeration and Signature Kitchen Suite&rsquo;s range with internal sous vide.</p>

During the visit, Scott Bekins also had a private discussion with Keyur Shah who is Fisher and Paykel&rsquo;s VP of Customer Service and Operations for their United States Customer Service operation. Scott discussed the best ways to support customers after the sale and ways Fisher &amp; Paykel can better support local independent dealers like Bekins.</p>
