Bekins started as a service company in 1975 and even as we add other aspects to our business, we still consider ourselves a service company first. That means our desire to “BeKind” is a core value. For more than four decades Bekins has donated more than 10% of all net profits back into the community. We recycle more than 90% of all waste in our facilities and when our employees volunteer at a 501(c)iii humanitarian organization, Bekins donates to the non-profit organization. In addition, our employees go above and beyond for more than just our customers. Below are a few recent examples of how we like to challenge industry norms to make a positive difference in the lives of our employees, their families, our customers and the community.

Developmental Kindergarten students at Jeffers Elementary in Spring Lake showed off their creativity thanks to a donation from Bekins. A box which once stored a large major appliance, is now a yellow school bus. Bekins loves to recycle. See below for more information about our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, and pictures of the creative ways our community has repurposed appliance boxes.
